The Todra Gorge, on the foothills of the high Atlas Mountains, is a popular rock climbing spot. In our leisure time, we may walk into steep canyons.
We’ll stop for lunch before heading to Boumalne Dades. Afternoon arrival at Dades Valley for dinner and sleep at the hotel/riad.
From Casablanca, our 6-day adventure finishes today. We go to Marrakech via Kalaat M’gouna, Rose Valley, and Skoura Palm Grove. Visit Ouarzazate and Kasbah Taourirte film studios (optional).
After that, we’ll visit Ait Benhaddou’s 1986 UNESCO World Heritage Site Kasbah. Famous films like Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara starring Penélope Cruz, and others were shot here. Lunch is fine.
As we reach the High Atlas highlands, Tizi N’tichka, Morocco’s highest road pass, offers stunning views of Berber towns, valleys, and mountains at 2260 meters above sea level.
