At first, you cross the high Atlas mountains via Tizi N Tichka Mountain pass. Next, you arrive at Ait Ben Haddou’s Kasbah or the fortress of Glaoui. You will explore this historical fort and move to the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. After that, you will drive through Skoura Palm grove to arrive at Dades Valley where you will spend the night.
On the second day, you will drive to Merzouga for the camel ride stopping by Todgha Valley and Gorge.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley:
Your 4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes adventure begins with an early departure from the vibrant city of Marrakech. As you leave behind the bustling markets and colorful streets, you’ll journey through the captivating landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. On the way, you are going to experience the beauty of High Atlas Mountains via the road of Tizi-N-Tichka Mounatin pass, with an altitude of 2260m. Offering you charming views through these winding roads. valleys, oasis, mountains, and Berber villages. Furthermore, we will stop by, so you can get the chance to photograph great pictures.
En route, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ancient kasbahs. Explore the labyrinthine passageways and imagine the tales hidden within its walls. This place belongs to one of the most important families between the 16th and 17th centuries, “the Glaoui’s family”.
Also, a place that attracted many filmmakers. Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Prince of Persia and Jesus of Nazareth are examples of many films and TV series that used the historical fort to catch some scenes. After one hour hike, you can enjoy a Moroccan delicious lunch in this historical area.
Then after a quiet stay, we will resume our tour in Ouarzazate to pay a visit for the Atlas Film Studios. It’s where you can learn more about how the city became Hollywood of Africa. Afterwards, we leave Ouarzazate and drive through the Valley of Roses. Kelaat M’Gouna is the town where cooperatives use the Damask rose to produce many products such as Rose Oil.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert:

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Adventurous Tour

After breakfast, you will embark in a 4WD vehicle and start bashing the sand dunes in an enthusiastic activity.
The first stop is the panoramic view of the sand dunes where you can see the transition from the harsh black desert to the sand dunes. Afterwards, you continue driving through the desert valley towards the Algerian borders. In the edges of the dunes, you will stop by the nomadic families who still live traditionally in their nomadic tents.
It’s an opportunity to gain more sight into how locals lived here many years ago. Learn how they survive in the scorching heat of summer and freezing nights of winter. After a cup of tea under their traditional tents, you carry on the adventure tour to reach the abandoned village of Mifis. It used to be a French village where they dig for mining. Now it’s turned into a Moroccan military base.
Crossing the valley and back to the main way, you will visit Khamlia village. The majority of the inhabitants of this village are originally from the Sub-Saharan countries who most of them were brought as slaves and others were traders who settled in this part of the desert.
Now they serve their ancestors legacy. It is a spiritual music known as Gnaoua. You can listen to their music accompanied with a cup of tea and see how everyone is happy and friendly in the desert.
Still in the village you must try the Berber pizza. It’s a traditional nomadic food they eat when traveling long distances by camels. After lunch, you will drive to the hotel to rest and have a free evening
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes:
After breakfast, bid farewell to the desert’s embrace as you journey towards Fes. Your route traverses the picturesque Ziz Valley, showcasing a landscape of lush palm trees and verdant oases against a backdrop of arid beauty.
Pause in the town of Midelt to savor a meal, recharging for the final leg of your journey. Next, you will stop in Morocco’s largest forest to see the Barbary Apes. Also, not too far from the jungle you will visit Ifrane city. Unlike any other city in Morocco, it is referred to as Switzerland of Morocco.
