Most Wonderful 4-Day 3-Night Premium Mountain Desert Tour from Marrakech! My husband and I had the most wonderful time on our premium 4 day-3 night tour of the High Atlas Mountains and Sahara, roundtrip from Marrakech. I requested an all-inclusive price with high-end accommodations for my specific dates, and I accepted their quote as very fair. We would have been fine with a small group tour, but it ended up being a private tour with just the two of us and the guide. Our very experienced, personable and professional young guide was Houssin, he spoke English very well, had comprehensive knowledge of the country and was an excellent and safe driver. His SUV was clean and very comfortable. He picked us up from our first riad in Marrakech and coordinated our drop off with our 2nd riad upon return 3 days later. I would definitely recommend NOT planning to drive the mountain and desert roads yourself, especially if it would be your first time. The condition of the roads varies from excellent through dicey: in addition to hairpin turns on the mountain passes and stretches with poor paving, there were rough temporary sections around rock slides and washed-out roads (there had been heavy rains a couple weeks prior), narrowed sections with ordinary construction and maintenance, and farm animals appearing unexpectedly. There were also many police checkpoints (with motives which varied from legit to dubious). Mostly, though, you get to see so much more of the mountains, desert and passing Berber villages and kasbahs when you are a passenger! We stayed the first night at the stunning new Eden Boutique Hotel in the Dades Valley and I must say that it tied with the restored Ait Ben-Haddou Kasbah as our most memorable experience of the trip. We stayed at the Madu Premium Desert Camp at Merzouga and the very nice Kasbah Tamsna Hotel in Ouarzazate (located on a tiny back street, would be challenging to find in your own!) on our last night. Given that my husband & I are almost 70 years old, we requested stops for a break to stretch every couple of hours. Most of the places where we stopped had some sort of cafe and toilet facilities, which is useful, of course. (Some were just scenic lookout spots along the road.) All had either a shop or a collection of local roadside vendors, but Houssin always explained that there was no need to buy anything ever, and indeed the vendors were very polite and not overly insistent. The entire route is a well-trod tourist loop, there are no alternate roads to these destinations (certainly not any better roads!) and it was clear that there were numerous other stops along the way that were all virtually identical to the ones we would stop at. Every size vehicle, from motorcycles to normal cars to full 50 passenger buses to 10-15 person vans, was traveling at all times along this route. Houssin made sure we were well cared for and in control of how much or little of the tourist experience we were engaged in.

Amazing Morrocan Experience Hassan and his crew made sure me and my friends had a great holiday by touring us to great spots. Despite the short stay we really enjoyed and would definitely return. Morroco is an amazing country that has a lot of things to offer, definitely a beauty.

Unforgettable experience we are definitely going to come back! I went on a 7 day trip with my family with Imagine Morocco from the first moments they were very nice organizing the trip we wanted.Our guide Hassan and our driver Mohamed were amazing they took good care of us from the beginning. The views were amazing and the food tasted delicious. The best part was the desert where we got to spend the night in a well equipped tent in the middle of the Sahara desert!!
