Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech

A day excursion to the picturesque village of Ourika Valley will include several hikes and climbs. The standard mountain hike that leads to seven waterfalls may be a flat-out experience. Ourika is located in the lower High Atlas areas, 60 kilometers from Marrakech. Its many Berber settlements make it one of the most popular destinations for day trips from Marrakech.

With its typical Berber towns made of baked clay and stones, Ourika’s leisure excursion from Marrakech is stunning. Despite being near to Marrakech, Ourika is previously thought to be largely uncontaminated. We may appreciate the splendor of the Ourika Valley and its breathtaking views of verdant knolls by taking a leisure excursion from Marrakech to Ourika. Because of its breathtaking scenery and waterfalls, Ourika Valley could be the locals’ favorite destination at the end of the week. The kingdom is well-known for its fruitful trees, the rocky slopes of the hamlet, and the seven waterfalls that round it.

Around 9 a.m., we left Marrakech in a 4WD car and drove an hour toward Setti Fatma to experience the rejuvenating waters of the seven waterfalls. We passed through several Berber settlements and, therefore, the valley of Ourika, stopping sometimes to take photographs of the expansive scenery. After we get to Setti Fatma, we’ll have lunch and take a little walk along some of the lovely paths, scaling the wateriest rock sculptures before heading back to Marrakech.
