The most charming and well-preserved Kasbah in Morocco is Ait Ben Haddou, which is becoming more and more like a collection of smaller Kasbahs. Located on the traditional march route between Marrakech and the Sahara, Ait Ben Haddo Kasbah is a fourteenth-century maintained peak town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Numerous films have included the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and a whole new village has developed around this amazing building. Our day trip to Ait ben Haddou Kasbahs will start at 9:00 from Marrakech and take us into the High Atlas via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which is 2260 meters above the high Atlas Mountains.
During this day tour, you will view beautiful traditional Berber settlements and the tops of the chain. In order to discover the charm of its beautiful Kasbahs, we will go to the Aworld Heritage Site, the maintained Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. It’s a beautiful location, and the Kasbah is particularly striking at dawn or sunset. You may explore the ruins of the walled granary and take in the picturesque scenery while walking along the river.
After a time, we continue on to Ouarzazate, which is the gateway to the desert and the main destination for southern Saharan desert tourism. There, we will see the Taourirt Kasbah and its amazing construction, which allows you to witness Moroccan architecture and the interior of an authentic antique Kasbah. The additional fee is 2 euros (20 dirhams) per person. We take a car back to Marrakech in the evening.
