5 Days tour from Marrakech

Day 1 : Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Taourirt Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. to start your 5-day journey to Merzouga. You’ll pass real Berber towns and magnificent vistas on the High Atlas Mountains’ Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2,260 m). Visit Taourirt Kasbah and Oscar Film Studios before lunch in Ouarzazate.

Continue to the Rose Valley, known for damask roses and the May Rose Festival, and see the Skoura palm forest and kasbahs. Finally, sleep at a Dades Valley hotel with a view.

Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Boumlane – Tinghir – Merzouga

After breakfast, your 5-day Marrakech tour visits Todra Gorge via Berber settlements and Tinghir. Before reaching the Todra Gorges, a famous rock-climbing location, observe the palm-tree-lined Todra Valley. Explore the 300-m canyons on a short hike. Lunch in Tinjdad and Touroug, then Erfoud, the entrance to Tafilalet, the Saharan oasis. Reach Merzouga and the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit your nomadic Berber tents on a 1.5-hour camel ride with a sunset stop, sandboarding, and photographs. Camp out beneath the stars with mint tea, food, music, and overnight.

Day 3: Merzouga-around Erg Chebbi

Explore the stunning sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. Visit the nearby village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal. This day of your 5 Days Tour from marrakech to Marrakech will be an unforgettable desert adventure.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate

A delicious breakfast at the hotel will be followed by a drive to Ouarzazate via Rissani to witness its weekly traditional market, if we are lucky enough to be here on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday.

Next, we’ll pass acacia trees in a dry pre-desert. Our drive to the Draa Valley will include many stops to admire the river that gives the valley its name. Morocco’s longest river.
We cross the Anti Atlas to Ouarzazate to start our 5-day Marrakech desert tour.
There will be time for lunch in the city before heading to Ouarzazate in the afternoon. We’ll arrive late afternoon or evening, have supper, and stay the night.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou kasbah – Marrakech

After lunch at a café in the middle of the Atlas, continue to Tizi n’Tichka, pausing to admire the mountains and Berber villages. We’ll continue our 5-day Marrakech desert tour and arrive in the afternoon.
